Description: A heathlike shrub with clusters of tiny star shaped blossoms near stem ends. Stems covered in small needle-like leaves.

Color: White, red, pink and lavender

Botanical facts: A member of the citrus family.

Design notes: Fragrant; an excellent filler flower.

Purchasing hints: Purchase when one quarter of the blossoms are open. Branches should be very pliable.

Conditioning: Remove all foliage that will be below the water line. Break two inches off of the stem ends. Hydrate in a solution of water and commercial floral food for two hours before storage or usage.

Additional notes: Coleonema is Greek for sheath and filament. Foliage is aromatic, citrus fragrance.
